Loop It · Slow It · Drill It · Build It Back To Full Speed

Stop Rewinding The Same Four Seconds.

You find the lick. You miss the start. You overshoot the end. You rewind, and you miss it again. Five minutes later you've barely practiced. You've just been operating a video player.

That's not a practice problem. That's a tools problem.

Everything You Need To Drill A Passage, In The Video You're Already Watching.

The Looper control panel with an A/B loop set and Loop turned on
01
Loop The Exact Part
Set a loop on any tricky passage and play it back on repeat. No more scrubbing the timeline to find the same four seconds.
The speed control set below 100 percent to slow the video down
02
Slow It Down, Keep The Pitch
Slow the video to a tempo you can actually play, with the pitch held where it is. No dropping into a muddy low key, just the same notes at a slower speed.
Transpose and fine-tune controls for matching the video to your guitar
03
Match Your Tuning
Shift the pitch to match your guitar, with fine-tune correction for the in-between cases. Play along without retuning.
The tempo trainer set to climb from 50 to 100 percent, five reps per step
04
Built-In Speed Trainer
The one a generic looper doesn't have. Take any saved loop and the Looper raises the tempo for you, rep by rep, until you're at full speed. This is where the real practice begins.

05
Save Your Loops
Build a library of the passages you're working on. Jump back into any of them with one click, and the video reopens right where you left it. Yesterday's loop is waiting for you today.

06
Organize How You Practice
Tag each loop with your own labels — alternate picking, blues, thrash rhythm, whatever fits how you practice. Use the color status to know where you are on each loop at a glance, so your library stays a practice plan instead of a pile of bookmarks.

Most Tools Stop At "Slow It Down." That's Where The Work Starts.

You'll probably use this more than every other feature combined.

Anybody can slow a video down. Building it back to full speed is where progress is won or lost, and that's where most players stall. They jump the tempo too soon, it falls apart, and they never find out how close they were.

The speed trainer does the climbing for you. Set a starting tempo and tell it how many reps you want at each level. Play your reps, and when you've earned it, the Looper bumps the tempo and keeps going. No stopwatch, no metronome math, no remembering where you left off yesterday. Clean repetitions and automatic progression until you reach full speed.

Picture a real session. You find a lick, set the loop, drop it to 50%, and play five clean reps. The Looper takes you to 55%, you play five more, then 60%, and it keeps climbing. Thirty minutes later you've actually practiced, instead of dragging a timeline around.

That's the difference between owning a passage and watching someone else play it.

Built By A Guitar Teacher, Not A Playback Button.

I'm Jon Bjork, and I've spent 25 years teaching guitar. In that time I've watched thousands of hours disappear into rewinding videos instead of actually practicing. The Looper is the tool I always wished my students had.

Everything in it is built around one principle. Perfect repetitions beat random repetitions.

A passage doesn't get fast by playing it fast, it gets fast by playing it clean and climbing the tempo with the reps in between. The saved loops and the speed trainer are that method, built into the video you're already watching. You're not slowing a video down. You're running a real practice progression on the exact part you're stuck on.

Instagram changes how its player works fairly often, so keeping the extension compatible is part of the ongoing maintenance — and one of the reasons this is a subscription rather than a one-time buy. When Instagram shifts, I update to keep it running.

Less Than A Set Of Strings.

I wanted this to cost less than a set of strings. Affordable enough for any serious guitarist, and sustainable enough that I can keep improving it every month. Your subscription includes every future update and improvement automatically, so the tool you buy today keeps getting better while you use it.

The goal isn't to charge you every month. It's to keep making the tool better every month.
