If You Always Change
What You Practice,
The Practice Will Never
Change Your Playing.

A practice system for intermediate guitarists. Free to join.

You're not short on lessons. You're buried in them. Half-started YouTube videos. Advice that doesn't line up. A new technique every time the feed refreshes.

Practice Room Pro is the program that fixes it. You join, I look at where your playing actually is, and you get a practice plan built for you. Then we do the work: daily routines, weekly sessions, and feedback from me on your clips. Progress you can hear and measure.

You're Not Stuck
Because You're Lazy.

You're stuck because there's too much to practice, and nobody is telling you what to drop. There has never been more free guitar instruction out there. And somehow that has made it harder to get better, not easier.

01
Too Many Lessons. Too Many Voices.
Every channel teaches the same things in different ways. And every teacher sounds like they know what they're talking about. With no way to tell what's good from what isn't, every session starts with a choice you can't really make.
02
You Start Things You Never Finish.
A new video shows up and you switch to it. A new lick catches your ear and you switch again. Half-started lessons pile up. Nothing builds, because nothing got the time it needed to stick.
03
You Don't Practice Anything Enough.
Fifteen minutes here, fifteen minutes there, across five different things. That keeps things going. It doesn't make them better. If one technique is holding you back, it needs real time over weeks.

The Program,
Step By Step.

Pro runs like a training program: you're assessed, you get a plan, we do the work together, and we check the results. One clear target at a time, worked long enough for the skill to change.

01
The Assessment
You start by showing me where you are: a short questionnaire and a few clips of your playing. An honest baseline, on record, so we both know exactly what we're fixing.
02
Your Practice Plan
From the assessment I build your plan: what to work on, in what order, and which daily routines from the library to run. One clear target beats ten random tabs.
03
The Work
Daily routines, a weekly live session, and my feedback on your clips any day of the week. Structure and accountability, so the plan actually gets done.
04
The Measurement
Tempo benchmarks and before/after clips at set points along the way. You'll know you're getting better, and you'll be able to hear the difference yourself.

This is insane effort and I love it. I would never be able to do this much by myself. Thank you all for the inspiration and accountability, it's such a powerful force.

Your Practice Lab.
Built To Make You Stick.

The hardest part of practicing isn't technique. It's showing up every day. Practice Lab fixes that. Open the app and you're already in. The dashboard asks one question: what are we working on. Hit Start A Session, set the metronome, and the time you put in gets logged. When you want to go deeper, pick a Lab and work on the specific skill you're trying to fix. Either way, your streak and your hours add up. The work you put in actually shows up.

Eight Focused
Practice Modes.

Each Lab works on one skill the right way. No filler. No busywork.

01
Virtuoso Lab
Technique built on how your hands actually learn. Most of the improvement happens during the short rests between reps. Virtuoso Lab builds your work in small groups of clean reps with rest built in. Hit fifteen clean reps at tempo and the BPM goes up.
02
Technique Lab
Remove your weak spots through massive repetition. Pick a lifetime rep goal for the move you want to own, like ten thousand clean reps of an alternate picking shape. Chip away at it, session by session.
03
Systematic Chops Lab
Train every two-string picking combination, one at a time. Systematic Chops walks you through every combination on the neck, so you build complete coverage instead of comfort zones.
04
Rhythm Lab
Master every rhythmic subdivision. Work through one rhythm at a time so eighth-note triplets, sixteenths, and the ones in between actually feel different to you. Not math you're doing in your head.
05
Ear Lab
Learn to play what you hear. A melody plays in a key. You find it on the fretboard. The link between your ear and your hands gets stronger every session, until you stop guessing and start hearing the lines you want to play.
06
Harmony Lab
Hear harmony by playing it. Voice-led triads moving through real progressions, so chord changes stop sounding like separate grips and start sounding like music going somewhere.
07
Fretboard Lab
See scales and arpeggios across the entire neck. Stop running the same shape in the same position. Build a complete map of where every note lives and how every shape connects.
08
Target Tone Lab
Stop skating over the changes. Anchor in a pentatonic shape, pick a chord tone to target, and the Lab walks you through the progression. Your lines start outlining the harmony instead of running scales over it.

Serious Players.
Real Results.

Working systematically on single- and multiple-string picking solidified my picking mechanics more than expected. I can now consistently pick 10-15 bpm faster across the strings than before, without pushing it and having my technique fall apart.

Acke · 8-Week Alternate Picking Intensive

During these 8 weeks I noticed I was suddenly able to play songs, especially fast ones like Master of Puppets, way more relaxed, and it was easier to keep the tempo steady. It's a feeling of being more in control. Thank you very much Jon, it was definitely worth it.

Christian · 8-Week Alternate Picking Intensive

I'm at week 5, completely consistent, haven't missed a day. I find the most benefit being the consistency, keeping the schedule, and keeping the slow tempo.

The intensive course format forces me to spend more time, and daily time, with the guitar. And that, in itself, has made it worth the price.

Jonathan · 8-Week Legato Intensive

Jon Bjork

Practice Room Pro is the membership I wished I'd had when I was stuck.

I've been playing guitar since 1992 and studied at the Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles, learning from musicians like Brett Garsed and T.J. Helmerich.

I started teaching full-time in 2001 and have worked with students at every level ever since. I've also spent years composing orchestral music, nearly 700 tracks for Epidemic Sound, heard on channels like MrBeast and Hot Ones.

My goal is simple: make the path to better playing as clear and direct as possible for every single member.

Before You Join.

You start with an assessment: a short questionnaire plus a couple of clips of your playing. From that I build your practice plan, pointing you at the intensives, courses, and Labs that match where you are. Then the rhythm is simple: run your routine, post clips when you want my eyes on something, and join the weekly live when you can. At set points we record new clips and compare them against your baseline.

The community itself, free, no card required. You get the 30-day Alternate Picking Deep Dive with a daily routine, plus a front-row seat to what happens inside: the intensives in progress, the accountability threads, and the wins as they land. The weekly lives, the session archive, and my direct feedback are Premium, and upgrading is one tap away from inside.

Yes, you can cancel any time from inside your Skool profile. No refunds on started months. And canceling doesn't kick you out: you stay in the community as a free member.

Not yet. If you can play a pentatonic scale and read tab, you're ready. If you're earlier than that, build the basics first and come back when you can.

No. I've been playing for over 30 years and I still use my own courses in my daily practice. The materials and the Practice Lab are built to give you something real to dig into at whatever level you're at.

The live is recorded and posted in the classroom right after, so you can watch back any time. And the live isn't actually the main way to get questions answered. You can post a question or upload a clip in the community any day, and I respond directly with text or video. The live is more of a hangout where we talk practice, music, and whatever you bring in.

Yes. Start with the free 30-day Alternate Picking Deep Dive, browse the Lick Library, or run the 10-Minute Speed Builder. And the biggest one: The Practice Room itself is free to join, so you can watch how we work from the inside before spending anything.

Yes. Access to the courses and the Practice Lab is tied to your subscription. As long as you're a Pro member, all of it is yours. If you cancel, that access ends. The flip side is there are no individual course purchases stacking up. One subscription opens all of it.
