Part 1: Six-String Shapes

🚨 Important: watch the video first. Don't skip it.

This first part of the routine focuses on running through all seven 3-note-per-string major scale shapes, but it's not just about "playing through the shapes." The entire point is to use this as a technique builder, not just another scale exercise.

That's why I haven't included any tabs here.

Here's what I've seen happen over and over again: someone skips the video, goes straight to the tab, and just starts playing the shapes any old way. They get through them, but nothing gets better. No improved picking. No better transitions. No clarity. Just going through the motions.

That's not what we're doing here.

🎯 What to do instead:

  1. Watch the full video. I walk you through exactly how to practice this the right way.
  2. Then, once you understand the approach, use the scale shapes below as a visual reference.
  3. Email me if anything is unclear.

This is a simple but powerful exercise, as long as you do it with intention. Don't overthink it, but don't rush it either.

Let's build clean technique, not sloppy speed.
